Off the Hook X Vans Deli Edition Mid Skool ’77 LX

$120; Available Saturday online at vans.com

Vans continues its quest for shoe-world domination with this twist on the iconic Mid Skool ’77 LX by teaming up with Off the Hook, Montreal’s premium men’s footwear and clothing store. The dark burgundy leather upper with brown leather stripe—and the classic Vans waffle sole in mustard yellow—is an ode to the Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich, Montreal's favorite dish. Frankly, I don’t know if a pair of sneakers has ever taken inspiration from a sandwich, but I certainly hope it’s not the last.
